After I learned the health and safety rules she took us on a tour of the whole building and told us what to do. Our job is to wait in the stock room until a phone rings, the other employer phones and tells us to bring down a shoe for the customer. If were not doing that we have stand in the shop floor and help the customers. On the first day I only had to polish the shoes on display and load boxes. We have to do other things like make sure all the shoes in the stock rooms are in the right size order.

We get to have an hour break all together but we get to split it up in four or two ways. On my first day of work experience I had two 30 minute breaks. I don’t really like were I’m working because I don’t get paid and the hours are two long.  At my friend wok experience he get paid 15 pound a week for 2 weeks and he gets to wear his own clothes.

The dress code at Clarks is all black on the first day I wore a whit shirt and the lady told me not to come in the next day unless I wear a black shirt. On Monday when I had my first break I went KFC, on my lunch break I stayed in the building and sat in the staff room with my friend. I see some of my friends in the morning and at break as well.

This boy named Matt from my school works right next door from me. My other friend Dean works opposite from me in a sports shop. All of the other employees there are very friendly and helpful. I don’t really like working at Clarks, if I could choose another one I would

This Easter holiday was a lot better than the one I had last year I only went out a few days each week. This year I got to go out almost everyday so I was never really bored. Most of the times I went out I would go and meet my friends and just walk around. I went bowling twice with most of the people in my year every time my team would win the game.

Zakariyah and I stayed over my Granddads house in Acton for one day. As soon as we got my their granddad bought Zakariyah and I two large pizzas to share between us. After we finished eating those pizzas I went straight to sleep. In the morning my Granddad made the biggest breakfast I had ever seen before and I struggled to finish it. My Granddad gave me and Zakariyah a ride home in the evening after we ate lunch.

When I got home I went straight back out to meet my friends in West Hendon, we played football for a bit then I went home. I went to my Grandmothers house three times during the Easter holiday, but I only slept over once. The other times I went I would only stay for half a day. The days that I was in the house I would do work for my Dad. Sometimes he would pay me if I finished all the work in one day.

My phone broke the first Saturday of the Easter holiday, my dad had to pay thirty five pound just to get the buttons working. I got my phone back on the day before school. I really didn’t want to go back to school after two weeks of relaxing. The first day back was school was good, nothing really changed except for my ICT class and Business. Now I have a better business teacher so hopefully I get a good grade in the class. My old ICT teacher had a baby and named it after a girl in the class.

So far my holiday has been very good. The first day of my holiday I went out with my friends. We went to Hollywood bowl and watched the new movie transporter three. I think that one has way more fighting in it and has a better storyline. After we watched that movie we went to the bowling alley, this time I beat all my friends. Before we went home we ate at Nandos, I ordered chicken and chips like always.

The second time I went out with my friends we went to a pool club. I think I’m the best person at pool in my year, except Micheal. When I came back home that morning I had to go an visit my Aunty Leah in Luton. The only reason I hate going to Luton is because it takes long to get there.  Luckily this time I went to sleep on the train. We were meant to stay at my Aunties house for three days, but we ended up staying for two because Na’ariyah kept screaming mummy and daddy.

The only bad thing about my Aunty Leahs house is that there vegetarians. I can’t go without chicken for more than four days, I don’t know how they do it. Half of the time when I was at my Aunties house I was listening to music on my phone or I watch movies. When I wasn’t doing that I was taking care of my little sister and my little cousin. On the second night we stayed my Dad came to pick us up.

The next morning I went to play basketball at my schools court. The whole basketball team was there playing matches. I stayed there for three or four hours then I went to Subway. When I finished eating at Subway I caught the train to Kings Cross. I went Kings Cross because I had to stay over my friends house. The next morning I woke up and went straight home. When I got home I ironed my school clothes then waited for the next day so I could go to school.

At his concert was my second favourite artist called Gigs was there. Gigs is a UK rapper from Peckham and he is signed to SN1. When he performed I didn’t know who he was until a few weeks later I started to hear him on Westwood. Now I always listen to him and watch his videos on Westwood. My favourite album from Gigs is Walk In The Park and Ard Body but I don’t have any of them I just listen to them on YouTube.

My third favourite artist is Cassidy, I have like Cassidy since I was thirteen. The first song I heard from Cassidy was get no better. My favourite album from him is bars to death, the reason I like that album is because all the songs on there are good. My favourite Cassidy mix tape is the Back To The Problem, my favourite song on that album is Whats Up With You. I’ve never been to his concerts but I would like to go one day. I think I’ve seen Cassidy once in Atlanta before but I’m not sure.

My fourth favourite artist is T.I and I have liked him ever since his first song 24’s. My favourite album from T.I is the king and T.I v.s T.I.P. I’ve seen him at least 3 times, he came to my school once and I saw him in lenox mall before. One of my friends was his cousin and T.I gave him a gold PSC chain. My favourite song from T.I is probably Big Things Poppin and my favourite video is Bring Em Out. I would love to go to one of his concert in Atlanta because I know that it would be so hype.

I have been in year 10 for only a month now but so far it has been ok. The first day of school is always good, I got to see all of my friends and even some of my favourite teachers. My tutor Mrs.Wilson left the school so Mrs.Polson is my new tutor. I like her better because she’s always trying to make jokes. I still have the same people in my tutor from last year so that’s good. I also don’t take music, drama, French, Spanish, and geography anymore. The reason I don’t take those classes anymore is because I didn’t pick them for my choices. For my choices I picked P.E, history, resistant materials, and business studies.

Business studies is my hardest class right now, but I’m getting use to it. P.E is defiantly my easiest class, I have an innate ability when it comes to sports. I probably was always good at history because my teacher is really good. We usually do practical in resistant materials an I think my work is really good. I still go to school the same way but now it takes a little longer. There are two new people in my year, one is a girl and her name is Ashley the other is a boy and his name is Chris. We have a couple new teachers one of there names are Mrs.King. She’s the one who excluded me for having a fight in the school, but I like her she’s nice. The second one is a P.E teacher from Australia named Mr.Groan and the last one is a P.E teacher from Whales his name is Mr.Smith.

Denzai and Mali left the school on the last week of year 9, Melek left the first week of year ten. Melek left because she was too bad so she got sent back to her country. Denzai left because he didn’t like the school for some reason, Mali left because he didn’t get good enough grades. I still see Mali and Denzai sometimes in Barnet. Both of them left our school to go to east Barnet so there lucky. I never really liked Denzai so I didn’t really care.

This year I’m defiantly going to play for our school basketball team and this year were going to win. Last year we won every game except for the last one. The last game was my worst game for some reason. This 1^st term is going good and I hope it gets better.

The aquarium had a lot of fish and while I was there I saw a boy that was in my 6^th grade class in America, but he didn’t recognize me. He us to be my cooking partner and he always made us get a good grades. When we left and got on the train in only took twenty minutes so I was happy. Other than the aquarium I’ve been to the cinema twice with my friends. The first time I went to the cinema I saw the new Jet Lee film. I think the new Jet Lee film is better then the last two by far.

The second time I went cinema I saw the dark night movie again. My favourite person in that movie is the joker because he’s so funny and talks funny. I don’t know how people say that the batman before the new one is better, I think the exact opposite. I was thinking about going to the London dungeon, but all my friends told me that it wasn’t good so I’m not going. I stayed over my friend Felipe’s house a few times. At his house we just play basketball and meet up with other people. I also stayed over Matt’s house a few times. I always go cinema when I stay over his house or go swimming.

My brother Zakariyah has been working during the week and on the weekends he gets to go out. He has his GCSE this year so he has to study hard. During the holiday I’ve been studying a lot so next year won’t be hard at all. I’m looking forward to going back to school and seeing my friends. I have two weeks of the holiday left so hopefully my dad allows me to go out a lot. So far the holiday has been ok and the remaining of the holiday will be even better.

My name is Shalmuwn Hall and I am going to talk about Richard and what happened in the book. Richard is in the family line to become king. Before him it is 3 people, but Richard doesn’t want to wait. He appears to be short and weak but he is really powerful and scares people very quickly. The king during the story is Richards’s brother and he keeps having bad dreams and he is very sick. If the king dies the Henry will become king. So Richard basically makes the king think that Henry is making him have bad dreams.

So the king sent Henry to dungeon and while Henry was in the dungeon Richard sent two people to kill him. When Richard did that then I knew that he was a really evil character. Ever since Richard killed Henry he kept killing people like his two cousins and his wife. Richard finally became the king after killing all of those people. Richard wanted to marry Lady Anne so he can be even more powerful, but Lady Anne is only 10.

So Lady Anne’s mum didn’t want Richard to marry her, but they had no choice. Lady Anne Wanted to marry the prince of whales and he wanted to marry her. The only way they can get married is if the price of whales kills Richard and he knew he would because they were in war with each other. The day before Richard and his troops were going to attack Whales he had bad dreams about all the people that he had killed.

The next day the war finally began and the two armies were looking at each other from a far distance. When this part of the story came I knew that Richard was finally going to die. Richard was telling the troops to get ready for battle when suddenly an arrow hits one of his troops. When that happened the armies rushed toward each other and the war began. Richard was killing everyone and was doing well. When suddenly the prince of Whales came to him and started to fight. The prince of whales was determined to win and kept screaming it out loud. Finally he threw the sword and Richard and it hit him right in the chest.

After the war the prince of whales married Lady Anne and whales and England declared peace. I think that the book is very good and Richard is a very good character in it.

My train comes at 7:19 and it was 7:18 when I crossed the corner to the train station. So I started to run faster than I have ever ran before, when I finally got to my platform the train doors were shutting so I quickly put my arm in the way an the doors open. I sat down and my phone started to ring. I answered the phone and it was zakariyah, he told me that we didn’t have to were book bags and I had mine on. One of my friends live right near the train station so I ran to his house an dropped of my bag then we started to go to the 251 bus stop.

The 251 bus only took 15 minutes to get to school and the minutes went by quick because me and my friend was talking about were our year should go after school. My friend thought that we should go to the cinema and so did I. While we was walking to the school from the bus stop we saw our year in a big circle so we went an all I heard was someone say who wants to go cinema. Everyone said they wanted to go so that was already sorted. Since it was the last day of school all of our classes we fun classes and some of them were parties. So I have to say that the last day of school was the best day.

School finished at 12:30 since it was the last day, right after school my year went straight to Hollywood bowl. We watched adulthood because 75 percent of us haven’t seen it. I think the movie was really good and thing that happen in that movie is just like what happens in real life. After the movie it wasn’t time for me to go home yet so me and my friend Hoss went to Brent Cross and waited until 7:00 then both of us went home.

My name is Shalmuwn Hall. I am 13 years old and I was born in March 7^th 1994. I am black British and was brought into existence in London England. I was raised by my Mum and my Dad until they got a divorce. After that I came to America with my mother.

I stayed with my mother in America for 10 years. Now I am in England with Dad. He lives in northwest London with his fiancé. The reason I am here now is because I did not make the best grades in America. So my parents thought I will do better in England with my Dad.

I have been in London for about 2 months now. My Dads fiancé asked me where I was from and I did not know exactly where. All my life I never knew where I was from and I thought that was really bad. I knew where my Mom and Dad were from but I did not know where their parents were from and no details about it.

So I decided to write a project on it. The project is exactly about my ethnic background. It tells you everything about my parents and my grandparents. I hope after you read my project you know everything about my background.

My Mum was born in London England August 3^rd 1973. Her Mum and Dad raised her together. She has 1 older brother 1 younger brother and 1 younger sister. When she turned 6 her Dad paid for her to have a piano tutor and a dance tutor until she was 16.

She was also in a singing group with her brother and her mother. They started the group when she got around 16. Her part in the group was a rapper and a choreographer. When she turned 21 she gave birth to me. After that she has been taking care of me. Now she lives in America and she is a fashion designer and a choreographer.

My Dad was born in London England July 26^th 1974. He was raised by both of his parents. He has two younger sisters and no brothers. His Mum and Dad were always around him. His mother still lives in the same house he grew up in.

When my Dad got 20 I was born so he had to start taking responsibility of me. Through my Dads whole life he has been studying and getting ready for when he got older. Now he is an I.T consultant at Morgan Stanley.

No-one was injured in the fire, though black smoke and flames were said to be visible from as far away as Cardiff.

BBC Radio Bristol reporter Nigel Dando, who is at the scene, said: “There’ll be nothing left after this fire, it’s a desperately sad scene.”
